HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR TO ONE AND ALL
okie so this is a bit late. but better late than never?! anyways this year's CNY i can't really celebrate, with the recent demise of my grandma. can take ang pao cannot give ang pao. by right can make more money but then i paiseh to even go to pple's house to take ang pao man. but all in all it was pretty good! had our usual blitzkraft gathering, and as usual it was full of nonsense and funny shit. everyone seems to have grown up even more than the last time we met. well at least some of us did.
of course, this year also included the nice round of 'care and concern' questions about when i'm getting a boyfriend. seriously, i'm not even anxious and u guys are worse than my mom. i think my mom's getting a little tired from saying 'it's not that she don't want, she got a lot of guys going after her. but she choosy'. to tell the truth, i think i haven't had a guy go after me for about 2 years already. and i'm still trying to perfect my 'you don't tell me you go NTUC buy apples, you will choose those with blemishes right' reply. and it's true, all the aunties who have been asking really have no right to because they do exactly that when they go NTUC. and honestly, what's the hurry?! i'm not like 34 and unmarried. i'm only 24!!!!! i still have time. and besides, if i get tied down so early, then i can't go clubbing and dance with other guys!!!
because sad to say, society is double standard-ed. i like edison chen, cos he's so cute. but with the recent scandal, his character as a person has come into question. i have a couple of guy friends saying that edison is DA BOMB cos he has shang-ed so many girls. and that makes it ok for a guy to have multiple partners? so if a girl does that (filming her having sex), (for eg. tammy), she has to endure crude comments from other people?! so while a guy is a stud, a girl is a slut. that's totally bullshit. i watched the annabel chong documentary and in it, i remembered clearly that she was saying the exact same thing. and her whole sex-athon and record breaking fucking session was kinda like a sociological experiment (or somewhere along that line).
and as a sex partner, and possibly a gf, how can you allow yourself to be photographed by your apparent 'lover' who obviously is not only using it for personal gratifcation but also the viewing pleasure of his friends?! and his friends, who condone such actions by actively viewing these photos. ok, obviously there are some people who like to review on perhaps what they have done and see if they can improve, and obviously we humans all have some voyeuristic tendencies. but honestly, filming a sex act (when you're not in the adult entertainment industry) is seriously off (granted they were not meant for distribution in the first place)
but don't humans learn, if paris hilton's sex tape can leak out, so can colin farrel, and so can kim kardashian. so doesn't it mean that the probability of getting ur sex pictures leaked out is higher?! and seeing as to how scandals seem to plague you quite often, and how you kinda inherently just offend people, that others will see it as a chance to get back at you?! and even if it's not a revenge driven motivation, how can you be so silly to send in the laptop with out getting rid of the pictures first?! humans always have a tendency to look into other people's property, esp when it's sooooo juicy (pardon the pun)!
whatever happened to being faithful in your relationship. please don't tell me your current gf doesn't look into your laptop?! then she is being naive. but then again she's only barely legal. oh wells, your life, your actions and your consequences. the only things that one can do in this kinda situation is to keep one's head up and live your life. only this time round do it right and prove it to your detractors.
and on hindsight, you're obviously damn good at getting the hot ones. kudos. heh.
